Don’t freak over a word

My 250-word flash has been accepted for publication by Five Points magazine. The publication is highly rated according to the 2016 Pushcart Prize Literary Magazine Ranking for Fiction.

Can each chapter in a novel-in-stories, like “My Life at First Try,” stand alone? Like an orchestra player, each individual chapter can play nicely by itself, but a group of them can still work in concert.
